Trip 1331 APR 13, Mt Pirongia Day Walk -Sainsbury Road to Tihitoetoe/Grade A.

A fun day out with a drive to Pirongia then up the winding Sainsbury Rd to the Mountain Bike Centre. We will follow the main Forrest road up to the bush line and then continue a mostly marked track to the top of Tihitoetoe @ 845m high. A short bush bash along the top of the ridge leads to an excellent view point to have lunch. On the way back maybe ice cream or a coffee.
