TRAMP 1265: APRIL 9, EASTER SURPRISE DAY WALK

Come along for about a 3-4hr tramp in Te Kauri Park, Oparau area, walking down many steps with lots of different native trees and plants alongside and then flat walking beside a stream to a Doc campground, then back along the stream to a less used track to bring us back uphill to the road.  We then drive 15 mins away to Kawhia for coffee/icecream/lucky dip Easter egg and a relax on Ocean beach in the natural Te Puia hotpools (we dig ourselves a bath), bring a small spade if you have one, also towel, swim shorts, togs, whatever you are comfy in, an Easter egg (under $10), if we have enough private transport cost will be $15-$20 depending on numbers.

Meet up time will be 9am at Christina’s in Ohaupo returning by about 5.30pm.
