Trip 1344 JUL 26/27 Okahukura Loop & Mangatutu Track, Pureora (staying in Pureora cabins overnight) /Grade B

Leaving Saturday 26 July around noon in private vehicle(s).

Check into Pureora cabins, afternoon walk in the area TBC.

On Sunday drive to the Okahukura loop carpark at the road end.

This is a shared walking/mountainbiking track, 14km,4.5hrs.

Walk to start Mangatutu track, options from there:

• up to Rangitoto range and return same way down to loop track (4hrs). Then back to road end car park
• or continue loop track to where it meets the road
• instead of doing the Mangatutu track some might prefer to do the full loop track instead; this would include 3.5kms along the road back to road end carpark, unless otherwise arranged

Booking has been made for 2 cabins (sleeping 6 and 2 persons).

Each cabin features:

• Full stove/oven
• Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans etc
• Fridge
• Toaster and jug
• Dining chairs and table
• Each block has serviced toilets and showers with plenty of hot water.

Just bring your own bedding (including pillows) and towels.

Accommodation cost $30pp to be transferred as booking confirmation a week before departure.

Transport cost $25pp (TBC) to be paid to the driver after the tramp.
