 sp\;\nWill take an hour’s drive to get to the start of this track\, either
  via Otorohanga or through the backroads of Pirongia Village\, destination
  a small carpark on Gayne Road.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nWe are intending t
 o do a short section of Te Araroa Trail. Starting from the carpark\, follo
 w a farm road\, hopping over a few stiles along the way\, and on past an a
 irstrip.&nbsp\; 500 metres on beyond it\, the track leaves the formed farm
  road for an old timber trail – we will follow this for a couple of hours.
 &nbsp\; It would be nice to get to Mahoe Road and check out the new shelte
 r built for Te Araroa walkers\, but we will see how things go.&nbsp\; Othe
 rwise on a clear day\, there are beautiful views over the surrounding coun
 tryside\, an easyish farm walk mostly\, with some wet track underfoot for 
 part of it.&nbsp\; Expect to walk approx 4-5 hours.\n&nbsp\;\nLeader:&nbsp
